Background Information:
Ursula is a Dietitian registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA), and a Senior Lecturer/course leader at Leeds Beckett University.
Ursula has over twenty years' experience of working with adults and adolescents in NHS and Private services for Dietetics and eating problems. She is an expert advisor for the NICE Guidelines, and NHS England Specialist Services.
Ursula is experienced in carrying out holistic assessments and can offer a range of treatment modalities, including email, skype and phone support. She is committed to working with people as individuals, in a flexible, professional, collaborative and compassionate way.
In addition to her specialist areas as detailed above, Ursula has also studied a range of psychological approaches, and is committed to person centred care, underpinned by psychological support based on evidence-based psychological therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy for eating disorders (CBT_ED), mindfulness, compassion focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and Maudsley treatment for Anorexia Nervosa (MANTRA) .
