Hello, I am a Clinical Psychologist offering specialist therapy for people who have been diagnosed with cancer or anxiety. I work with people diagnosed with a number of medical conditions such as cancer, or cardiovascular disease. I work with relatives, professionals and patients with these conditions or who have other medical diagnoses.
I have several years of experience in treating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, overwhelm, low self-esteem, loss, bereavement, adjustment to diagnosis, health problems.
I have training in a variety of psychological treatments such as:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Mindfulness Interventions
I will provide you with treatment recommendations based on research findings and therapy success for your problem, and together we can decide what might be the best treatment for you.
I know how important it is to have someone to talk to about your experiences. Together, we can try to make sense of what has happened to you and explore coping skills to help you move forward.
