Living with chronic or long term health conditions
Philippa is a Principle Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Philippa has over 10 years’ experience working in the NHS both in Mental health, Neuropsychology and Learning disability services. She has worked with a wide range of mental health issues, with different levels of complexity. She has experience in running reflective practice and skills based group work.
Philippa is able to work in an integrative way, drawing on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, including acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, compassion focused therapy, solution-focused therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. She is committed to evidence based practice and outcome led therapy, ensuring that therapy is regularly reviewed collaboratively with the client and parents/carers where appropriate.
Philippa has additional training in systemic family work, DBT and clinical supervision. She also provides specialist teaching on the Leeds Clinical Doctorate course.
