– Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
– Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Rebekah is a Clinical Psychologist completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Leeds University in 2009.
She is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council HCPC (PYL24259) and has received additional training in CFT, CBT and EMDR.
Rebekah has experience working with outpatients who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD and mood difficulties. She also works with complex PTSD, and childhood trauma.
Rebekah is experienced in CBT and integrated third wave approaches including Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She also uses EMDR extensively in her work. Emphasis is on individual formulation based on the client’s personal history and current difficulties, which informs the interventions used.
Since working in private practice, Rebekah has worked extensively with trauma and anxiety disorders.
